Langtang is situated close to the
Tibetan border & is remote valley
enclosed by snow-capped mountains
that culminates in the peak of Langtang
Lirung (7246m).
The religious of Tamang people closely
resemble those of the people of Tibet
inhabits the area. We make our trek
through larch & rhododendron forests
that are abundant with wild flowers
& bird life. These all help to
ensure your trek particularly attractive
in the springtime. We get enough time
to explore the head of the valley
getting close to the glacier system
or climbing a nearby peak for stupendous
mountain views. There we are rewarded
with the stunning views of the Manaslu,
Ganesh Himal & even as far as
the Annapurna massif. A series of
undulating ridges offers delightful
walking before descending to the edge
of Kathmandu.
This trek begins at Sybru Bensi and
ends at Sundarijal Kathmandu. This
route connects the Langtang valley
and Helambu treks via Lauribina Pass
(4610 m). The pass generally closed
December through February. Trek to
this area offers both natural beauty
and live culture of the famous Sherpa
People. Healthy forest of blooming
Rhododendron (Nepal's national flower)
in the trail side is another attraction
during spring season. This trek can
be arranged both clockwise and counter
clockwise.
